Stephen graduated in Economics from Cambridge in 1980 and then trained as an accountant with BDO Stoy Hayward before joining Leonard Finn & Co, where he stayed until 1985. After a number of years working mainly with Levy Gee - in which time he passed the Institute of Taxation exams at the first attempt - he joined his father at Goldwins in 1990.
He became partner in 1995 and is now the firm's senior partner, overseeing the practice's finance and other operational functions. He combines his management role with an impressive portfolio of clients, and a particular strength in the fields of corporate and personal taxation.
Stephen is married with four children, and lives in North-West London. He takes a keen interest in theatre and music, and is also an avid follower of sport (particularly cricket and football).
